rain

after three weeks of almost every day rains we got some pretty decent "foliage". we didnt get to come over during the rainy days, so we were pretty much shocked seeing all the weeds to be knee high.
also the house next door is being completly remodeled and getting ready to be sold.

faucets

felt like christmas last couple of days as we were receiving several packages with our faucets and other bathroom hardware. they really look great in person, and we are happy that we went with danze. other brands that we considered were cifial, american standard and pegassus. of course over $1000 starck faucets were way over our budget, lol.

we got permit

actually have had it for a while, the whole process took only a week. i guess building department is not that busy right now. we are still waiting for the bank to finish their part. this gives us some time to fine tune the whole project, and make changes as necessary. 

small progress

finally after 3 weeks of almost non stop snow and rains, we were able to finish installing our silt fence. we also had portion of infill dirt hauled away as we figured we had little too much.  there isreally  not much more we can do now before we get building permit.
