sprinkler system

zone 2 in action

setting valve box in place. we have two rotor zones and one drip zone.
all poly tubes and risers are in place. waiting for plumber to install backflow device before we proceed with flushing the whole system and finalizing sprinkler installation.

this is ditch witch from home depot. basically huge chain saw that rips through the dirt and creates trenches. the boom drops down to desired depth. it saved us from back pain and many days of digging.

  1. I've recently started watching your blog and LOVE you home - the exterior alone is stunning - love the wood/white contrast! Do you guys have a landscaping design in place? Given the beauty of the house I really look forward to seeing what happens with the yard.

  2. I'm anxious to see how the sprinkler system finishes up. I can't believe you did most of it on your own! I may be checking back for tips as I think this would be a great addition to our yard.

Landscaping is looking great too! Hopefully your weather is cooperating. Ours in Minnesota has been amazing! Not one drop of snow in March...we're so lucky!

    Carry on!
